Recently we have found two posts on
the internet commenting negatively on the service
provided by our company. Although we can only verify the
source of one of those posts, the timing and tone of the
two lead us to believe they were posted by the same
individual. Our records show that this person was twice
responsible for posting insecure scripts on our servers
that permitted third parties to disseminate spam from
our mailers. The individual was contacted and warned
once and repeated the incident about 30 days later.
After email and voice conversations with the individual,
the account was terminated for cause. The person did not
want to accept responsibility for the error. We do not
tolerate spammers or scripts that permit spamming on our
servers. Our position is that the reviews posted online
are purely vindictive. Of the thousands of customers we
have hosted over the years, this is the only incident we
have experienced.

You've outdone yourselves, and that wasn't easy to do...
When I first started using your hosting service, I was
attracted by your low-key, no nonsense approach. You
explained things such as why anyone would need their own
IP number, in ways that were calm and rational. No hype,
and no terror tactics "you've heard the *horror*
*stories* of what happens to people who share IP
addresses...", that sort of thing. None of that
hysteria, just the plain, simple truth.
I chose your service, expecting basic, good results.
Silly me - the results were absolutely stunning. You
answered each question I had within a very short time, a
matter of hours at most (as I said in a previous
letter). Not only were you quick, you were also
courteous and effective in your help.
Recently I had a minor glitch and a new issue. You
responded in LESS THAN A HALF HOUR ON A SATURDAY NIGHT,
and quickly solved the problem. Were you just sitting
around, waiting for my e-mail? Moving to your cPanel
server solved the problem completely, and also has
allowed me to incorporate other features into my
Website. The move itself was as painless as such things
can be.
In a world where some "experts" think a cold boot means
kicking the CPU,
it is unusual - almost uncanny - to find such highly
qualified people who actually *solve* problems rather
than just telling me what's wrong. I'm so used to
incompetence that I seldom bother calling the "Help
Desk" or technical support; those guys are likely to do
more harm than good. That is, if I can ever get past the
recorded message telling me how important my call is to
them, and they will get to it in the order in which it
was received, so in the meantime you might as well grab
some lunch and find a good, thick book to read, maybe go
to your class reunion(s)...
With you it's a simple e-mail, and magically a few
minutes (maybe a couple of hours) later, you've got the
answer.
Thank you for your highly professional service. I'd tell
all my friends, but they both hate computers...

Hi 24-7,
First, I wanted to let you know how happy I am with your
company, your service, your support, and your
up-time. Not having the best experience from a previous
host, I needed to find another host. I signed up
for your 15 day free trial (pleasantly surprised that
you were confident enough in your service that you don't
ask for billing information).
I signed up for my free trial December 20, 2002 -
obviously just a few days before Christmas--and a
generally hectic time for most everyone. But since this
is a slow time for me I needed to get another hosting
service started before getting too busy. I didn't
understand everything for your system and options
available (still don't!) and needed support during the
following days. Your technician was wonderful and
supportive and I put him to the test a couple of times.
Well, the 15 day free trial went ok. So I went to the
next "testing" phase by ordering a 3 month hosting plan
for the premium account. During this time, and unbeknown
to 24-7, I took advantage of an independent company
offering a 2 week free trial monitoring service that
would tell me exactly how much "up time" I really was
getting from my (any) web hosting company. I was very
happy to say that with the exception (out of 24-7's
control) of when the entire internet slowed due to some
"pranksters" causing havoc on the entire internet, 24-7
showed 100% up time. Relief! A host that is reasonably
priced and delivers what they promise.
This was going very good, so I ordered four more, making
a total of five accounts with 24-7. Now, nearly as the
three months approach I find I've created more sites for
myself and need to order 11-15 total sites and need a
quote. Please forward a quote to me asap. Thank you for
being a truly "professional" company. It is such a
relief and pleasure to have found your site! If anyone
is considering a new host, don't think twice about 24-7.
Just do it. I'm confident you'll receive the same
great service.
24-7 keep it up and I'll be with you for a long time to
come. And one more thing, don't do like so many other
companies that eventually go by the way side-even after
having reached the "top": don't ever forget what it took
to become successful is the exact same thing that will
sustain, and consequently improve your company, possibly
taking it to heights you've only dreamt about--and that
is total dedication to quality, professional care and

the facts, Ma'am. I liked the price, and was willing to
sacrifice service for cost. I took your service fully
expecting to get almost nothing except a basic Web site
with little support or help of any sort.
You guys have proved me quite wrong.
You promise
little and deliver much. This is such a refreshing
change from what I am used to on the Internet that I
felt I just had to say something about it.
Feel free to use this in any testimonial you like, or
for any other purpose. You have answered every single
one of my questions within 24 hours, and usually within
just a few hours. Your answers were always correct,
courteous, and useful. Because of your timely responses
I was able to continue mucking with my Website without
having to wait for days to get an answer I might not
even be able to use.

lapse, I intend to bring them over to your service. I

I just wanted to say thanks for the support. My last
hosting company left me stranded several times over a
weekend when either my website or my e-mail quit
working. Even after leaving many voice messages and
e-mails, they never contacted me or even let me know
when the problem was corrected. On one occasion I had
placed an ad that featured my website and it was
inaccessible the whole weekend that the ad was in the
paper!
After trying the 15-day trial I was sold on your
company. My questions were answered right away and I
have had no problems uploading or setting up my e-mail. Thanks so much
